Priestley House is the primary phase of Batley Grammar School and caters for boys and girls from four to eleven years. The majority of pupils continue their education in Batley Grammar School for which they have automatic entry as pupils of Priestley House. The school has a one form entry and has approximately 170 pupils.

 

The school provides a happy, caring and stimulating environment with the emphasis on hard work, honesty, pride and respect for self and others.  Highly experienced and dedicated staff ensure all children are highly motivated and are able to reach their full potential in all areas. Small class sizes of 24 children in each class mean each child receives valuable individual attention. 

 

The school boasts an impressive range of extra-curricular activities, including sports, arts and crafts and music clubs. Before and After school care is available to all children at a small charge.
