Batley Grammar School - Parents Association

The Parents’ Association (PA) and Friends of Priestley House (FOPH) work together to arrange social and fund raising events to support the learning experience of all the children in school, whatever their age.

The social and fund raising events are organised, run and supported by parents, pupils, staff, friends and ex-Batelians with money raised from them used to provide additional support for activities which the school may not always be able to provide.

The PA provides everyone with the opportunity to support the school and the many extra-curricular activities that all pupils can benefit from. We are extremely grateful for all the support that the PA receives throughout the year, and would welcome and encourage the involvement of all parents in the activities of the Association.

Volunteers Needed

We need a person to run the 100 Club – Carole is giving up after many years of dedicated service. The majority of work is done at the beginning of the school year, when people are recruited to buy new numbers or persuaded to continue to purchase their present numbers. This is a reliable source of income for the PA. Interested people to contact Carole via school or Jane Bembridge
