We use the formal SATS produced by the government at
the end of both key stages.
These are internally assessed at Key Stage One, externally assessed at Key Stage Two. Teachers also produce “Teacher Assessments” for Key Stage Two.
In Key Stage Two, we also use the Optional SATS, for Years 3 - 5, during the SATS week in May. These are formally undertaken and internally assessed. Levels are used to aid assessment comments on reports.
Results for 2007
The expected level for the end of Key Stage 2 is level 4.
