Batley Grammar School and Priestley House are situated in the heart of Yorkshire, England.
With good transport links, we are convenient and easy to locate.

BY CAR

If travelling from afar, take Jn 27 off the M62 then (a)
 (a) follow signs for 'Huddersfield' (A62 Gelderd Road). Travel 1.5 miles down hill to the junction with Bradford Road (A652). Turn left at The Coopers Arms pub. After 1 mile turn left up (b)
 (b) Carlinghow Hill, with The Kings Cantonese Restaurant and The Wilton Arms pub at the bottom. We are 500 yards up the hill on the left.
From Huddersfield
Leave North East Huddersfield on Leeds Road (A62). Follow it for 8 miles to Birstall Smithies. At the junction turn right at The Greyhound pub, onto Bradford Road (A652). After 1 mile turn left up (b)
 
From Leeds
Leave South Leeds on the M621 to Jn 27 (M62) then (a)
 
From Wakefield
Leave North West Wakefield on the A650. Follow it for 7 miles to Gildersome roundabout. Turn left and (a)
 
From Bradford
Leave South East Bradford on Wakefield Road (A650). Follow it for 3 miles to Birkenshaw. At the roundabout turn right, continuing on the A650 for 3 miles to Gildersome roundabout. Turn right and (a)
 
BY TRAIN
Batley train station is served regularly from all major surrounding towns and cities and is 2 miles from school.
Follow the road down hill to the lights and turn right onto Bradford Road (A652).
Follow this for 1 mile and turn right up (b)
 
BY BUS
Batley Bus Station has recently undergone major modernisaton, and connects the town well with surrounding areas.
Leave the station by the lower exit, turning left onto Bradford Road (A652). Go through the traffic lights and follow the road for 0.5 miles, then turn right up (b).
