GCSE Results 2007
   
Batley Grammar School year 11 students have again achieved excellent GCSE results this year.
 
By the Government’s new measure of at least five A* to C grades, including Mathematics and English Language, 94% of students have hit the target.
 
Students passed 89% of all subjects taken, and 38% of all subjects were graded A or A*.

Top of the class this year was George Pidgeon with nine A* and two A grades. Haroon Motara achieved six A* and three A, Josh Girling and Brett Longstaffe both produced five A* and five A grades, with Scott Atchison close behind with five A* and four A grades. Other pupils with at least seven A/A* grades were Emad Ahmed, Emma Carrigill, Christopher Furness and Kyle Robinson.
