WHAT IF I DON’T GRADUATE?
First of all, we all want you to graduate and will help you as much as we can. We will be monitoring your progress towards the graduation criteria and you will have time to make up any bits of your profile that do not meet the success.
If you have an extended period of illness such as breaking your leg or having your appendix out, we will take this into account and monitor your progress for the rest of the year.
Hegarty or Bedrock:
We will help you get time on these platforms if you are struggling to access them at home. We will monitor this as you go through the year and check if there are any problems with access. However, it is up to you to get the work done.
We have a VERY WELL stocked library and Mrs Goodall can suggest books for all interests and abilities.
Character for learning:
If your form tutor or class teachers notice that you are not demonstrating the right character traits, they will work with you to set targets to improve your efforts so that you meet the expected standards.
You will be spending time on developing these in Communication for Learning on a regular basis. Selecting the right skills to develop will be done with your form tutor and there will be opportunities around the school to demonstrate these.
